All new reel Shimano Vanford is designed to become the most – the fine fishing reel with a super fast start. Replacing the iconic Stradic Ci4 +, this reel is equipped with a number of technological improvements, which distinguish Vanford. Still relying on the light body construction of the Ci4 +, the new one Magnum Light Rotor rotor makes the reel with 48% easier to turn than the standard rotor design. Micromodule Gear II/technology, which improves the shape and smoothness of the gear/s Silent Drive are presented in the new Vanford, a Hagane Gear has been upgraded for extra strength. X-Protect provides a high level of water resistance, without sacrificing smooth transmission and rotor rotation. Shimano Vanford is also equipped with Long Stroke Spool, it's technology, which improves flight distance with 4%, thanks to the elongated shape of the spool and the shortened edges.
